REVA MC KENNA: 


Reva is a 7 year old Golden Retriever who doesn't leave the house much. She is very much a home dog and doesn't like being left alone for long. She is a very clingy dog who loves to be close to people. When I was doing this photo shoot she would constantly come closer to my camera every time I took a step back because all she wanted to do was to be patted. She is a very family oriented dog; she will always put her family first. Revia is a very loyal dog and she is always happy when she has someone close to her. Revia's main features are her beautiful brown eyes, her golden, long coat and her triangular shaped ears.

I first photographed Reva at a park near her home in Hillaries. At this park there was a lake surrounded by plant life and ducks. There was also a park chair that I lifted her onto and I made her stay on the chair. This took a few tries because she is very impatient. But because Revia doesn't leave the home too much she was too energetic and wouldn't stay still for the camera. I then decided to change location from the park to her home. When she was in a place that she knew she felt safe and calmer. At her home I positioned her outside in the back yard and also positioned her near the front doors of the house. Its amazing by just changing a location from one she didn't know to one that she did know I was allowed to show the true Reva which is a dog that feels safe when she is at home with her family. 

Reva was a challenging dog to photograph but I did achieve some great shots for my pet photography book. Reva is a beautiful friendly dog that loves everyone and I hope you love her photographs.

Ronnie the Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador

RONNIE GOODMAN Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador RONNIE GOODMAN Ronnie is a 4 year old Curly Coated Retriever x Labrador. Ronnie is a very timid and shy with strangers. He absolutely loves his family and he would do anything for his family. Ronnie is a friendly, excited and playful dog. At the same time he can get nervous and anxious when he is left alone or gets told off. Ronnie's main features are his chocolate brown coat with caramel colouring dreadlocks around his chest and on his legs.  Ronnie was photographed at Cliff Sadler Reserve. This park is Ronnie's favourite and where his owners always take him for daily walks. I chose to photograph Ronnie at a location that he knew and he felt comfortable with. As he does get quite nervous I didn't want to take him out of his comfort zone. This location suits Ronnie by the way there are areas that have a rustic feel. Flower Power' Model: Charlotte Adams  This shoot was taken at City Beach; Perth; Western Australia This shoot was used for my final Tafe Folio in 2012 for my Cert IV in Photo-imaging For my final folio I had to photograph three different fashion photography themes.  This theme was Hippie'. I think I successfully represented my model as a hippie by the clothes Charlotte wore and also by the locations which I photographed at e.g. field of wild flowers and near the beach,  these all resemble the stress free lives of hippies.  I just want to say a special thanks to my model Charlotte Adams for being such an  amazing person to work with and I know I will use her for more of my photo shoots. I am actually really happy with my final photo shoot!
