Kobi is an Australian Kelpie, he is 2 years old. He is a very energetic dog that loves to go exploring and do different activities. Kobi's dark brown eyes and his red coloured coat were absolutely amazing to photograph. I was trying to make these aspects the main features in my photos.

I photographed Kobi doing sheep herding lessons at Marionvale Working Dogs which is in Mt Helena, Western Australia. This was an amazing experience watching different dogs herd sheep for a few hours. There were also broken down tractors and old farm like sheds that I positioned Kobi near to take my photographs.

This location suited Kobi perfectly, because when you think of Kelpies you think farm dog and this location let me show that side of him. As well as showing his very energetic, outgoing personality and his excitement when he is herding sheep.

Kobi was very well behaved and did basically everything I asked him to do. He would have done basically anything just to have some treats. I was very lucky to have a dog that was very photogenic and that wasn't afraid of the camera. Kobi did tend to get side tracked when other dogs were around so I had to work around that, by the owner helping me get his attention.

Overall Kobi was a fantastic dog to work with, and I believe the photographs I have taken of him show his energetic personality perfectly. 

I can't wait to show you some more shoots I have just started researching into and I am going to photograph them in the next few weeks. So can't wait to share them with you :)

Ronnie the Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador

RONNIE GOODMAN Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador RONNIE GOODMAN Ronnie is a 4 year old Curly Coated Retriever x Labrador. Ronnie is a very timid and shy with strangers. He absolutely loves his family and he would do anything for his family. Ronnie is a friendly, excited and playful dog. At the same time he can get nervous and anxious when he is left alone or gets told off. Ronnie's main features are his chocolate brown coat with caramel colouring dreadlocks around his chest and on his legs.  Ronnie was photographed at Cliff Sadler Reserve. This park is Ronnie's favourite and where his owners always take him for daily walks. I chose to photograph Ronnie at a location that he knew and he felt comfortable with. Flower Power' Model: Charlotte Adams  This shoot was taken at City Beach; Perth; Western Australia This shoot was used for my final Tafe Folio in 2012 for my Cert IV in Photo-imaging For my final folio I had to photograph three different fashion photography themes.  This theme was Hippie'. I think I successfully represented my model as a hippie by the clothes Charlotte wore and also by the locations which I photographed at e.g. field of wild flowers and near the beach,  these all resemble the stress free lives of hippies.  I just want to say a special thanks to my model Charlotte Adams for being such an  amazing person to work with and I know I will use her for more of my photo shoots. I am actually really happy with my final photo shoot!
