Ellie Adams

Ellie is a 4 year old Great Dane. She is a very peaceful and calm dog to work with. She loves playing with other dogs and small children. Ellie loves meeting new people and she will always go up to strangers and say hello. Ellie's personality is that she can be pretty lazy, she loves sleeping and will always sneak on people's beds. Ellie would basically do anything for pieces of cheese so when I wanted to position her somewhere I would have to hold up cheese above my camera to make her look. 

Ellie's main features are her elegant body muscular structure, her big brown eyes and her dark black coat that shines when the sun hits her coat.  Her Height is also a big feature, she is 71cm tall and I have tried to highlight her height by taking photographs at a low camera angle looking up at Ellie.

I photographed Ellie at Kalamunda National Park. This location has over 375 hectares of national park, which involves bush, trees and scrubs. There are lots of bush walk trails that you can walk. Rocks surrounded the area that I photographed Ellie that you can climb and has a fantastic view of the hills from up high.  This location suits Ellie completely as Ellie loves to be outdoors, running and chasing after kangaroos. Ellie is afraid of the rain so when I did my photo shoot with her I had to make sure I chose a day that it wasn't raining. I had to cancel a few photo shoots because of the weather but in the end this photo shoot was one of my favourites and I am extremely proud of these photographs.

Ronnie the Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador

RONNIE GOODMAN Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador RONNIE GOODMAN Ronnie is a 4 year old Curly Coated Retriever x Labrador. Ronnie is a very timid and shy with strangers. He absolutely loves his family and he would do anything for his family. Ronnie is a friendly, excited and playful dog. At the same time he can get nervous and anxious when he is left alone or gets told off. Ronnie's main features are his chocolate brown coat with caramel colouring dreadlocks around his chest and on his legs.  Ronnie was photographed at Cliff Sadler Reserve. This park is Ronnie's favourite and where his owners always take him for daily walks. I chose to photograph Ronnie at a location that he knew and he felt comfortable with. Flower Power' Model: Charlotte Adams  This shoot was taken at City Beach; Perth; Western Australia This shoot was used for my final Tafe Folio in 2012 for my Cert IV in Photo-imaging For my final folio I had to photograph three different fashion photography themes.  This theme was Hippie'. I think I successfully represented my model as a hippie by the clothes Charlotte wore and also by the locations which I photographed at e.g. field of wild flowers and near the beach,  these all resemble the stress free lives of hippies.  I just want to say a special thanks to my model Charlotte Adams for being such an  amazing person to work with and I know I will use her for more of my photo shoots. I am actually really happy with my final photo shoot!
