This shoot was for a Tafe assignment.
I had to choose a specific art movement to research for my final project.
I decided to use Surrealism as my main inspiration for my shoot.
I knew it would be extremely challenging within such a short time period but I am extremely proud of my overall shoot.

RALPH HENDY: Golden Labrador Ralph Hendy: Ralph is my 9 year old Golden Labrador.  I photographed Ralph at  Scarborough dog beach in Perth, the day that I photographed it was pretty windy which meant that there were hardly any dogs there which was good because I knew that my dog would have gotten too distracted if there were other dogs or people there.  He absolutely loves to go to the beach, its the place where he can be himself and not worry about anything. When I was doing my photo shoot with him I was trying to take some photographs of him before he gets wet, but when i was getting my camera out of the camera bag he ran straight into the water. Ronnie the Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador

RONNIE GOODMAN Curly Coated Retriever X Labrador RONNIE GOODMAN Ronnie is a 4 year old Curly Coated Retriever x Labrador. Ronnie is a very timid and shy with strangers. He absolutely loves his family and he would do anything for his family. Ronnie is a friendly, excited and playful dog. At the same time he can get nervous and anxious when he is left alone or gets told off. Ronnie's main features are his chocolate brown coat with caramel colouring dreadlocks around his chest and on his legs.  Ronnie was photographed at Cliff Sadler Reserve. This park is Ronnie's favourite and where his owners always take him for daily walks. I chose to photograph Ronnie at a location that he knew and he felt comfortable with. As he does get quite nervous I didn't want to take him out of his comfort zone. This location suits Ronnie by the way there are areas that have a rustic feel. Flower Power' Model: Charlotte Adams  This shoot was taken at City Beach; Perth; Western Australia This shoot was used for my final Tafe Folio in 2012 for my Cert IV in Photo-imaging For my final folio I had to photograph three different fashion photography themes.  This theme was Hippie'. I think I successfully represented my model as a hippie by the clothes Charlotte wore and also by the locations which I photographed at e.g. field of wild flowers and near the beach,  these all resemble the stress free lives of hippies.  I just want to say a special thanks to my model Charlotte Adams for being such an  amazing person to work with and I know I will use her for more of my photo shoots.
